Subterranean Homesick Alien

So! It's an h/d story, of course, and it's pretty edgy, hence the darkness part of the story, but it's a featured story over at The Quidditch Pitch, which is very exciting!

I'm doing well, overall. Long weekends are always welcome and I'm just sort of soaking in my lack of current fandom obligations until November. Working and reworking my story a bit, massaging things, thinking, pondering, just sort of enjoying the process more than I have in a long while.

Cut my hair yet again! Now it's black/brown/purple and asymmetrically chin-length and shaved a bit in the back. It's pretty saucy, which makes me happy. Lots of changes and I guess I'm exacerbating it a bit, but… it's good, too. Always good to get out of a rut!

On the down side, I seem to have managed another sinus infection. The up side to that is that fevers are sort of fun if you know how to enjoy them, and if you love squick like I do, the green stuff that comes out of your nose is fascinating.
